#7 Oregon @ #4 Stanford

This is Oregon’s big game. Win and possibly go to the Rose Bowl.  Lose and their destiny is in the hands of the BCS.  Stanford wins and they could get a shot at the NC game if Oklahoma State loses.  If LSU loses the BCS will put in Alabama, so the only way Stanford gets in the NC game is with an Oklahoma State loss.  If Oregon wins they’ll jump Boise State and hope that Oklahoma State gets beat in a close enough game that the computers don’t jump Oklahoma over Oregon.  Then it all comes down to the BCS.  Putting the fate of the NC game in the hands of the BCS, is like shaking hands with a plumber while you’re eating some popcorn.
