I have said this before, Prince fielder would be a perfect DH for the red sox and would play pepper with that wall, He is made to be a dh he isnt that great of a first baseman, ever see him dive for a ball, as much as I like david ortiz, he is going to demand a huge deal because he is having a great year. I would rather give that money to Prince fielder and offer papi a small 1 year deal and keep him as a back up DH, that way if Agon needs a few days off Prince could fill in and papi could DH. I just have a feeling Papi is gonna want big bucks and threaton to walk if he doesnt get it. I would try for prince. as DH and back up for Agon at first. Papi could shut down again and have a bad year. my take on papi, is he is not going to be as good next year as he was this year. but than again, I thought Lackey would bounce back, you just never know in this game. But I would rather spend the big contract on Prince rather than papi. If baseball is about loyalty than resign papi, if its about winning, sign Prince.
