Bubba Smith dead at age 66

I left a message at the end of the “Easy Opening Cans” thread, but I felt that a great player and man like Bubba deserved his own thread. It is a sad day for the NFL, and for all the fans who remember him wreaking havoc in opposing backfields during his playing time. Who would have thought that such a ferocious player would have such an easy and smooth comedic side, allowing him to play in those hilarious Miller Lite commercials, and also to make us laugh out loud at his portrayal of Moses Hightower in the Police Academy movies.

RIP Bubba. My prayers go out to his family.
