Christmas Wishes
Twas the night before Christmas.
No it wasn’t….
Twas it two nights before Christmas?
Yes it twas….
So most of you have yet to finish your christmas shopping and you’re coming on here to release a little tension. I was going to write a poem for all of you, but I decided against it, because you guys would just tear it apart and analyze every word and by the end of it all it would mean nothing, kind of like the last couple of trips to the national championship games by Ohio State. I won’t mention the newly released suspensions because it makes me laugh too hard, you know the blow the milk out your nose kind of laugh. Back to Christmas….. Did I mention roasting your chest and nuts by an open fire? Okay, how about watching Alabama play Michigan State, naked with a bag a Cheetos? Is it just me or does that bring images of Tennessee fans to mind? Okay, back on track…. Last year around this time I was having the toughest time of my life as most of you well know. At times it felt like I would never get through it, but I found a place of happiness and insanity here within these posts and I want you all to know that you really helped me through some tough times. Now I go from the worst of times to the best of times, sounds like a Dicken’s novel doesn’t it? Dicken’s is an author and not a football coach for all you BIG10 people. Last January I really wanted a re-match with Ohio State because I felt like Oregon didn’t show up to the Rose Bowl. By June I wanted the team to just be respectable. By late September things started to look kind of special, and now we’re talking National Championship game. Pretty amazing stuff. Most of you have experienced this before and some of you numerous times so you should understand my feelings of being the rookie at the big dance. Anyways, enough of that…. I wanted to wish all of you a Merry Christmas, unless of course you are offended by that and if you are then I want to wish you a Very Merry Christmas. I wish all of you the best of luck in your bowl games, and if your team didn’t make it to a bowl game, perhaps you could cheer for my Duck’s. In the end we must all remember that it is only a game and win or lose we must move forward…and if you believe that crap you’re probably a bucknut fan or your team is on probation. Pom, don’t fall asleep in front of the fireplace, roasting your nuts is not a command.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All
