How sad it is that we don’t have the time to remember and honor all of the celebrities that died since the last Oscar night when this is such a glamorous show and does honor the living actors and actresses. The academy should have left out some of the other parts of the show and run all of the names of the celebrities who passed and will never again entertain us on any of the many stages we enjoy. The Oscar Show: It is a political statement–every vote on—the entire show. Right down to the woman nominated for the “Best Actress” award. Sandra Bullock and forget about Meryl Streep. Ms. Streep is the Oscar winner—hands down. Her complete body of work is Oscar worthy. Bullock’s acting leaves me waiting for the actress to appear on the screen. I would not pay to see her in a movie at the theater. I am so tired of politics–be it in the Washington arena or the Hollywood arena! Thank you for letting me vent.
