My reply…………hell no there is no double standard , and why is it Fox or anyone else needs to bring race into this? Let’s name just a few athletes who have flip flopped all over the place and the media still loves them!
Michael Jordan – he’s black, retired, came back, changed teams and the media still loves him (as do I)
Holyfield – he’s black, retired several times and the media still loves him. In fact, i think he’s coming back again.
I could name others, but what’s the point. It’s not because Farve is white, it’s because the media loves this guy. Me, I’m a bit tired of him and what he’s doing, but I never thought about injecting race into this. I’m sick of these knee jerk writers trying to sell stories by injecting crap into the story when it’s not needed.
