Giants are going nowhere fast, I assumed the Philly’s weren’t going to choke.

I was embarrassed once again by a NL team.  I live close to the Bay area and all Ive been hearing for the last week is how the Giants will finally win a WS.  I kept reminding everyone that the Giants have some great pitching, so do the Philly’s. I also reminded people that the Giants play in the weakest division in the Major leagues, even the experts agree the NL west is a weak division. I was bragging how the Philly’s not only have the pitching but the bats as well where the Giants are sadly lacking.

Watching the game yesterday any 2nd rate AL,  team could’ve/ out hit the Giants, the Philly’s looked like they did last year against the Yankees, helpless.  Lincecum is great and I did predict the Giants would win one game, the one where Lincum pitched, but after watching how bad the Philly’s choked Im beginning to wonder.  Im still convinced the Yankees will beat the Philly’s in 6 games in the WS, and the Giants in 4-5 games if the Giants beat the Philly’s.  I wonder if Ryan Howard will strike out 13 times like he did last year in the WS.  This is what I get for defending a NL team.  I defended the Philly’s and was made to look foolish in doing so.   I have said this for years and every year Im proven right about Ryan Howard.  In the NL Ryan is a really good hitter, in the AL east Ryan would be an average hitter at best, I always thought he was extremely overrated.  Apparently I gave with the exception of the Philly’s 3 starters, too much credit.  The Yankees are going to win the WS, no matter who they play, and it may just be the Giants.  If the Philly’s lose to the Giants they should be embarrassed.  The Giants have the pitching, they just don’t have the bats.
