Perhaps it was an attempt to drum up some buzz for his annual Labor Day Muscular Dystrophy Association telethon. Or maybe comedian Jerry Lewis is working up a new bit about Hollywood’s out-of-control stars. Whatever the case, the 84-year-old zinger let his feelings about Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton be known during an interview with “Inside Edition,” via Popcrunch.com.
When asked about his opinion on Lindsay Lohan potentially getting $1 million for her first post-rehab interview, and young Hollywood in general, Lewis had no problem admitting that he would get physical with the alleged Tinseltown troublemaker.
“I would smack her in the mouth if I saw her,” Lewis said when asked for his opinion on Hollywood’s youth (read: Lindsay Lohan). “And I would be arrested for abusing a woman.”
Well, at least he’s got enough marbles to know that his potential actions would be illegal.
“I would say, ‘You deserve this and nothing else – whack!’ And then if she’s not satisfied, I’d put her over my knee and spank her,” he continued.
But that’s not all. After smacking and spanking some sense into Lohan, Lewis would “put her in rehab and that’s it.”
Paris wasn’t safe from “The Killer’s” wrath either.
“The same thing with Paris Hilton,” he said. “Those children are begging for help.”
And since you can’t mention “troubled” and “Hollywood” in the same sentence without envisioning Britney Spears’ bald head, Jerry gives her a shout out too.
“And Britney did it for 3 years before somebody walked in and helped her,” he said.
