MLBPA votes for their MVP of the year

Congratualations to Justin Verlander for being selected the MLBPA’s MVP of the Year.  This is only the 2nd time that a pitcher has won this honor (Pedro Martinez did it – 1999).  His selection was over Adrian Gonzalez and Curtis Granderson who both had stellar years in the AL EAST.  I suspect that the AL Cy Young will be his before too long as well.
