Family
I want to express my deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Mr. Jack Tatum. I have called on Jack over the years to help in one youth sports activity or another. West Pittsburg Youth Football, and Antioch Youth Football. He always made himself available to the kids. He inspired my sons more than you will ever know. He would come and see them play football during his season, and I know he was busy. Jack and I have teased each other over the years me being a Wolverine , and he a die hard Buckeye. I’m a staunch 49er fan, and he a hardcore Raider. He has really had the upper hand as far as the Buckyes versus the Wolverines in the past few years. The world is a colder place today on his leaving us. He never ever really got his just due from a sport that he loved dearly. we talked about this once, and I’ll never forget what he said. “I regret Darryl was injured, but never the act. I was playing the game the way I was taught, and to do less would classify me a hypocrite.” He was always true to the game. Please say a prayer for Jack and his family tonight, and may The Supreme Being grant him Peace and Life everlasting. ROB MIXON

Yes I know it needs a link and either I are one of you will fish up a link. He was the man we loved to hate. He was a Yankee after all. But at the same time we developed an affection for him. Kinda like he did for Billy. How many times did he fire him? An American original who will be missed. RIP George. May piece find you and your family. I truly think a lot of the bluster was to rev the fans.
The Randall Cunningham Family. I pray the ” Great Comforter ” will be with you and your family to help you through this time of deep sorrow……….rym
Randall Cunningham lost his 2 year old son. Please keep him in your prayers. Totally a class act and I can’t imagine the pain that he and his family are feeling right now.

***WASHINGTON (AP) — Sen. Robert Menendez is urging the Major League Baseball Players Association to boycott next year’s All Star Game in Phoenix over the recently passed Arizona law to crack down on illegal immigrants. The New Jersey Democrat says in a letter that 27 percent of Major League players are Latinos and they shouldn’t be subjected to a law Menendez says codifies racial profiling.**** We understand that something has to be done regarding the problem of illegal immigrants coming into the US. Is it too much to ask that if they want to live in the US that they become naturalized Citizens? What we are tied of is having them come across the boarder and taking away jobs for those of us who are citizens. We are tired of them getting on welfare as well as others who are perfectly capable of working for a living. I worked for a company, in a call center for 28 years. I speak from experience when I say we’re tired of giving away the house. I placed a order for service for a woman who was here from Mexico. The state worker who was assisting her, thought it was funny that we were giving this woman and her 2 children a home, phone service, food stamps, medical assistance, dental, living expenses and child care money. When I asked for her ss#, I was told she didn’t have one as she just arrived from Mexco. I was a single mother trying to raise 2 children as well and I couldn’t get any help from the state. They told me to get the money from my elderly parents. I’m sorry that people feel their rights are going to be violated by the police asking for proper ID but something has to be done. If they want to live here, then do it right. If not, take your fannies back to Mexico and stop taking away from my family.
