The article today on Comcast talks about Tatum’s career and makes a passing reference to the Immaculate Reception….”the ball bounced off Fuqua’s foot and ricocheted into the arms of Steelers running back Franco Harris”.   Oh, really?  I have seen that tape a hundred times and cannot tell. As a result of the collision between Fuqua and Tatum the ball seems to clearly go straight upfield on the fly. Off Fuqua’s foot? This author takes one of the sport’s great controversies and solves it in an instant. Since a media guy says it,  it must be true.

Well, it looks like the Cowboys have another TO.  He doesn’t seem to me to be a team player, already, he’s dishing out what he can’t take. As a rookie they have played jokes on others, from what I have seen. SO HE NEEDS TO GET A GRIP AND BE A TEAM PLAYER AND ALREADY HE THINKS HE IS BETTER THAN THE REST OF THE TEAM.  SOMEBODY NEEDS TO REMIND HIM THAT THIS IS A TEAM SPORT.  grammy  67

Considering the stark contrast in what today’s athlete makes in comparison to the old days, I think it would be nice if the league gave back to the old greats of yesteryear.  I’m talking the former stars who had to go out and work other jobs during the off season but made the sport great giving 100% on the gridiron. Just something to supplement their incomes and social security I don’t think it would bankrupt the NFL.
