Steelers

Two things about Ben recently in the news that tells me that he really has not learned anything—one is that on his Facebook he has listed a new fictitious home town due to the bad criticizing–what did he expect? He brought shame to them and they are giving it back—if he was truly remorseful than he should eat it and apologize to them. Not pretend he is from a no name, imaginary place. Second, is that he expects cheers on the field at the first home game.  That might have been true if he was humble and DIDN’T”T expect it.   He is still the arrogant immature prima donna that believes he can get away with anything!!!   Wish it wasn’t so—wish it wasn’t true! But Ben is killing himself as well as the Steelers with his attitude.   If Goodell is giving him a good review and says he is going beyond what is expected, he is as blind and off the mark as suspicioned.

I can go on for the rest of the day where Ive seen superbowls where the team you want to win,but they dont win the big ONE.Steelers for example, there was so many bad calls in both of the Steelers SuperBowls it makes me sick to watch professionals just get away with murder practicely. The steelers would have 3 superbowls instead of 6. They just wait till the game is over and they get it automaticly. I know Im on a cant spell my words today. Its just a fact look at all the steelers superbowls, the refs get away with BS and its the other team always BS man. They should fire all the refs and start over again.

The article today on Comcast talks about Tatum’s career and makes a passing reference to the Immaculate Reception….”the ball bounced off Fuqua’s foot and ricocheted into the arms of Steelers running back Franco Harris”.   Oh, really?  I have seen that tape a hundred times and cannot tell. As a result of the collision between Fuqua and Tatum the ball seems to clearly go straight upfield on the fly. Off Fuqua’s foot? This author takes one of the sport’s great controversies and solves it in an instant. Since a media guy says it,  it must be true.

So I was watching a program on the NFL network this morning about the 20 best Superbowl teams ever. The episode I was watching was about the 1974 Steelers. Ed Harris, who was narrating the episode, commented on how the Steelers 1974 draft class was the best ever in NFL history. Out of that draft class, they picked 4 future Hall of Famers.   #1 Lynn Swann #2 Jack Lambert #3 John Stalworth #5 Mike Webster   Does anyone know of a draft that is or was better? For their team or any team?   From 1969-1974 the Steelers drafted 8 future Hall of Famers.   As far as draft class league wide, the 1957 draft class has to be the best. 7 Hall of Famers were drafted in that class.

Hi– I have decided to wear my #7 gear inside out until Ben makes me proud again or at least cleans up his act.  I thought about never wearing #7 again but decided I will wait until we see if he takes his punishment seriously and cleans up his act.  In the meantime, since I am disappointed/ashamed of him, I will only wear his jersey inside out.  I am not tossing it to give the Steelers and him the message that it is his last chance.  Shape up or ship out.  Join me—-wear #7 inside out!!!!

I AM A STEELERS FAN.  According to Mr. Dahlberg, I have no morals.  I apparently live my life to see My Team Win, I do not care what transgressions any of the players commit as long as MY TEAM WINS.  My Steelers are Awesome and the players can do anything they want as long as MY TEAM WINS…..etc..etc..etc…  Thank you Mr. Dahlberg for clarifying where the ENTIRE STEELER NATION

How can Paul Newberry tell that LIE?! The Steelers and Coach Cowher attempted an onside kick in the third qtr. of the Super Bowl against Barry Switzer and the Dallas Cowboys (1995 season and it was a success. I don’t know why Newberry would make a comment like, “this was the first on-side kick, prior to a desperation attempt in the 4th quater”.  Get your facts together. Sean coached an outstanding game, but I don’t think he deserves to be on Mt. Rushmore. Remember, 3 years from now, he could be searching for another job! This is the NFL!!!
