NL MVP: did the writers get it right?

The fact that Ryan Braun was selected as MVP over Matt Kemp of the Dodgers probably does not sit well with some on this forum – me included.  Who was the player that best helped his team this year?  IMO it was Kemp.  Yes,  the Brewers got in to the playoffs this year and Braun helped them achieve this milestone, Bud Selig notwithstanding.  BUT who was the best?  C’mon!  MLB’s Selig and now Fox Sports meddling with the Dodger’s chemistry all year long still did not sidetrack Matt Kemp’s excellent playing throughout the year wheras Braun seemed to wither in post season play.  This is not supposed to be a popularity vote but in my opinion (and that is all it is) Kemp was dissed…
