Early on, a newspaper article stated that Ohio State Head Coach

Jim Tressel was approached by DEA agents who told him of

current players frequenting the tattoo parlor.  They recognized

the players, feared for their safety.  Supposedly, they told Tressel

to get his guys out of there, as the suspect under surveillance was

considered possibly dangerous.     Tressel was also told, according

to the article, NOT to notify authorities, or expose the investigation.

That’s why he went indirectly to the quarterback’s friend, mentor,

not OSU administration, NCAA officials, or have an open meeting

on the problem.  As a result, he signed NCAA compliance statement

unable to expose what was happening.

Hope the Narcs have the balls to back up our coach.
