Recent headlines inspired this thread.

Other recent headlines support the notion that somehow the players are effacing the owners’ lockout with a business as usual style.

Many teams have gathered for these off campus workouts.

Teammates are convening on their own time to participate in player led camps and workouts.

I’m interested in your opinion.

Are these workouts illegal?

Is there a conflict of interest?

 Unfair advantage?

Who pays for the injury sustained in a ‘workout’ not sanctioned by team or union?

Or are you the other side of the coin?

Good for the sport?

Shows a player’s dedication to their craft?

One day the sun will shine again, and these guys just want to be ready?

On a tangent, I thought it was hilarious that the link to the panthers headline said ‘ secret’ workout. So ‘secret’ it made the AP hotwire and the Comcast homepage NFL headlines. Some people just don’t know how to write a headline…
