I was watching a preview of the Pacquiao vs Mosley fight coming up that was linked at comcast homepage and although it was for a brief moment, I recognized a former Charger cornerback as one of the interviewers. He went into TV and long ago had a local show in San Diego called Mr. 39s Talent Time. He played for the Bolts from 1968-1971 and went on to the Packers and Browns. Stats wise I don’t know although he was a popular personality. He was one of a few players that I ran across off the field. I happen to be in line behind him at a KFC that was near the studios that he recorded his show at. Other Chargers I got to meet of the field were kicker Rolf Benirshke filming a commercial for colitis, and half back Paul Lowe who was doing a public appearance for the San Diego city schools at an event for the school crossing guards which I was one.
