Well if last weeks humbling loss by the Chargers to the Jets last week wasn’t scary enough for Bolts fans, then we have a good one coming up on Halloween 10/31 on Monday Night Football. The annual trip to Arrowhead stadium is normally difficult because the fans in the stadium get rocking. Also the Chiefs who started sluggish have been looking better as the weeks have gone by. A convincing win over the rival Raiders 28-0 albeit with QB difficulties was still impressive at Oakland. Now comes another important divisional game with first place at stake for all three of those teams. A loss by the Bolts would produce a three way tie for the lead. The Chargers currently have no losses within the division. Two weeks to prepare for the last game in New York offered up terrible results. These teams are familiar with each other though and each should understand the importance of not squandering a chance to make their mark. We are right at mid season and even the Bolts should not be relying on their great late season achievements of past years. The all time record between the two clubs including playoffs is 51-51-1. For Bolts and Chiefs fans alike, it could not set up any better. The Chargers wanting to reclaim the West and the Chiefs hoping to say last year was not a fluke. Meanwhile a hungry Raider team lies in wait during their bye week. Folks, I will have my popcorn and soda (spiked) ready.
GO BOLTS!!!:smileywink:
