Steelers #1 in Jersey Sales

Just read this on steelers.com… 

“Safety Troy Polamalu’s jersey was the top-selling one from April 1, 2010-January 2, 2011 on NFL.com. Wide receiver Hines Ward’s jersey finished at 25th. Overall the Steelers ranked as the top team in jersey sales.”

Have to admit I sold my #7 home and away jerseys at our garage sale last summer after Big Ben’s “antics” but I picked up a nice James Harrison jersey to add to my Hines Ward & Jack Lambert jersey wardrobe.

Pretty impressive, but not surprising, that a team from a small market city would be #1.  Probably because the Steeler ”market” is really world-wide STEELER NATION!
