I went into the basement and threw sticks and stones against the wall and came up with my own version of the BCS.  Here is my Top 10.  I would like all of you to tell me what is right and what is wrong with my picks.  Please note there are no PAC12 schools.

1. Oklahoma State

2. Alabama

3. Clemson

4. Oklahoma

5. LSU

6. Kansas State

7. Boise State

8. Arkansas

9. Virginia Tech

10. Michigan

thats right, a lot of people have disagreed with my take on the cubs, but im right. and to prove it if the cubs win the ws, i will leave this site permantly and never post again, no matter how right I am.  How right have I been.  lets see, Ryan Howard has proved me right going on 3 years now, the cubs have proved me right going on 107 years, the red sox had a lot ot be proud of in spite of their injuries, terry francona should have been manager of the year, instead of it going to the twins mgr,  but most people on this site took me to task and said how wrong I was just over those three to four topics.  I will make sure i stock up on cheetos, bud light, and clean underwear.  gotta go, randall flagg is calling, he wants me to clean out his basement.

Yes you heard it here first. I’ll start with the Yankees. They had a bull pen the fluctuated from high to all time lows (much more the later)  and hitting that followed along the same lines. DK having his worst year in the majors not to mention Teix was anything but  acceptable (no he wasn’t even that) along with to starting pitchers that were unbearable to watch let alone know they were gonna be back at it in 5 games!  I could go on but I’ll leave that for anyone else who’d like to have at it . Yet the Yankees managed to get 90+wins ??? Just goes to back up my thought here!   Sox had even worst luck with injuries,  but their BP let them down for the most part with a few exceptions?   Rays folded ! Phillies Should’ve won it all but as the old adage goes even the blind Squirrel finds a nut once every 57 years?   Most of this I don’t mean however,  if I can rile a feather then why not! :smileymad::smileyvery-happy:   Next years thread will be entitled “From first to worst” or “back to the basement”. :smileysurprised:

I hope I have spelled his name right………..he deserves it.   Regarding trading him and keeping QB’s that would again put the Eagles in the basement, if it happens, Philadelphia deserves it.  The fans have treated him differently on a weekly basis.  WIN?  He’s the best!   Next week if they lose, they spit on him!   This is why for cities that have the four sports, football, baseball, basketball and hockey, the city of Philadelphia has the least championships of any city.  Research it.  He is only 33.  What a terrible loss if he leaves………

Okay, before anyone blasts me for making this thread. I honestly looked thru as many pages as I could stand for the old one. Besides, Free said we could talk about the Pirates once the new season rolled around and it’s not far off.   Does anyone think, besides me, that the Pirates have a chance of finishing out of the basement in their division this year? They’ve got some good young talent on the field now. All we need is for the pitching staff to have a good year. A lot of the players are thinking this could be a good year for the team.   Am I also the only one who thinks it’s time for them to give up on the Brandon “I play like my name” Moss experiment? For Pete Sake, he’s batting .063 in spring training. He’s 2 for 32. There are pitchers on the team with higher batting averages. This guy has been a complete disaster since coming to the Pirates. The best thing he could do for the team is to just admit he sux and walk away. I doubt there’s another GM out there that is dumb enough to take him in a trade. If I was the Pirates, I’d pay another team to take him off my hands. I’m sure the Pirates would accept a couple dozen bats for him in the way of a trade.   Please don’t give answers like; Until they quit trading away their good players…blah blah blah…that’s obvious. Not team can win if they keep trading away their best players.
