Colts
there is a lot of talk about the Pick-6 in the SB. This is the question for you. Do you think Manning choked, or did the Saints just beat the Colts outright, or a combination of the two. Personally I think it is a combination. Manning made a rookie QB mistake of staring down his receiver and had enough time to check down his other receivers and he would have seen Collie was open. Porter was covering Wayne pretty good and it should never have been thrown there. Now the Saints at that point were still ahead and Porter did read the play so I also give credit to the Saints. But I say Manning choked on that play and sealed the loss for his team. What say you all.
The way the Colts offensive line blocked for Manning, he could have taken a nap between plays. of course, coverage sacks work also. I am new to this forum. Ya’ll sure are a lively bunch. Thanks for letting me in.
Manning and the Colts lost ,because they were outplayed.Plain and Simple.
I think It’s hard to deny that despite the rare error* by Manning at the end of the game, the Colts’ offense was absolutely dominant. Almost every play resulted in a dramatic gain. But the Saints managed to keep that offense off the field. And all credit to the Saints’ offense for their endurance. If the Saints had “3 and out” drives, they would have been killed. But they hung in there. The (clearly) better team lost, and three cheers to the team who figured out how to beat them. (*I hate to call it an error by Manning. It was a good pass, but an excellent read by the defender)

Wow. I really thought the Colts would win. Congrats Mr. Brees and the Saints.
There was no need to rest those Colts the last two season games after all.
COLTS 34 SAINTS 23 Manning 318 passing yards, Brees 293 passing yards. BONUS: Colts will rush for 139 yards.

Personally, I am a big Texans fan. They have potential, a good coach, fans, and the ability to win (and screw things up every now and then). But all in all, I think the only reason the Texans will never have a chance at anything but the Wildcard is because the whole AFC South is puppy-guarded by the Colts. What do you think? Could the Texans make the playoffs without the Colts in there way?

Now that the Colts have achieved their goal of reaching the Super Bowl and they are as healthy and rested as any team could be this late in the season, the question I have is, were Caldwell and Pollian correct ? Would they do it again ? What do you think ? My personal opinion has not changed, I support the decision to rest the starters but in my heart I wanted to see the team go for it ! The Colts looked incredible against the Ravens, very fast and rested so maybe it was the right call ! Lets hope that we have great weather in Miami and see a great game !! GO COLTS !!
