Gator numero uno will vacate  his position with the University of Florida for the position of head coach of the Denver Broncos and to reunite with his “one trick pony”  Timmy Tebo.  The Meyer family longs for the nostalgic life they had in Utah and Colorado is next door.  Urban has been disgruntled over his dismissing of Cam Newton and has been heard to say “we could have been contenders with Cam, it was only a lap top”    The announcement is due to be released prior to the game with the Re-animated corpse and his Penn State Preppies.    Sources on the Hogg Towne campus have hinted John Gruden is the leading candidate for the job.    Mrs Meyer commented at a local watering hole, that her family had never “warmed” to Gaineville and the likes of “boiled green peanuts”  jailhouse tatoos and the mispronunciation of her husbands first name.

The struggling Denver Broncos have decided to cut ties with their head coach Josh McDaniels http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/Josh-McDaniels-fired-as-Denver-Broncos-coach-120610

The season is lost for the Broncos, but as I had hoped …Bowlen would hear the voices of Denver’s faithful  and let Josh McDaniels go. As bad as Denver is right now, Bowlen has shown the guts and dedication to Denver fans that the product McDaniels has produced is not in any way acceptable. Kudos to Bowlen,   and to Josh  McDaniels….. someday you may make or again become a head coach in the NFL. But,  as with many professions you have to be able to prove yourself and produce. It just didn’t happen in Denver.

Denver Kudos

I did not see much praise for an outstanding Denver Bronco performance on Sunday, so I am going to give kudos to an awesome effort. McHoodie gave the pretenders (Chiefs) a McWhoopin and became their McDaddy! I have to thank you for that and now it is a real horse race in the division. Once Oakland realizes the koolaid is going to wear off, they will get a reality check in Pittsburgh. Well Broncos, we meet in a week and may the best team win, but like in Highlander, “there can only be one”. Good luck.

I believe this is the first time I’ve ever posted a thread, but I just felt the need to state the obvious. Anyone but me notice how there doesn’t seem to be a HUGE uproar over how the Raiders “Ran up” the score over Denver this past weekend? I mean, as opposed to how everyone and his brother did when the Patriots were doing it when they first got Randy Moss along with all the other weapons they had at the time?! Or is it only they’ve been terrible for so long people are still having a hard time believing it happened?! Chock up one more reason to believe the rest of the league just likes to dump on the Pats for doing something apparently everyone else can get away with with impunity! Sheesh!

What will Denver do in the first round of this year’s draft?  Will the Broncos take a LB, an offensive lineman, a defensive lineman, a wide receiver, or a safety?  Those are all areas of need for the Broncos.

The Dolphins sound like a good fit for Brandon Marshall.  Chad Henne is off to a good start and is a good bet to continue to improve and be a darn good Quarterback.  They have time to grow together and should be a good tandem.  South Florida should be alot of fun for Marshall too.  He was sick of Denver, especially after all of his legal troubles.  There was no way he was coming back after the way the season ended.  South Florida has plenty of distractions, so I hope he chooses the positive ones.  I wish him the best, just not against the Broncos.  Marshall has alot of football to play yet and I think he will have a great career.   I’m also optimistic that Denver will choose their new second round pick wisely.  Hopefully it’ll be on the Defensive line or in the secondary.

It didn’t work for him in Cleveland, but then there wasn’t much defense to protect their quarterbacks.  Quinn to going to Denver, but where will Anderson end up?  Contrary to his stats, he has potential to turnaround his career and his experience with Cleveland with the right team.
