WHO’S NEXT FOR THE STEELERS
WELL AFTER A EXHAUSTING WIN AT HEINZ FIELD AGAINST THE RAVENS,WHO IS NEXT,HOW MANY STEELER FANS WERE WORRIED AT HALF TIME,THEN AFTER A TOUCHDOWN FROM A TURNOVER GOT US TO ONLY 7 POINTS DOWN AND WE HAD HOPE,THEN THE TIEING SCORE AND WE ALL FELT A LITTLE BETTER,THEN THE DEFENSE CAME UP BIG AGAIN AND WE TOOK THE LEAD,BUT OUR HEARTS WERE BEATING WHEN THE PUNT WAS RETURNED FOR A TOUCHDOWN BUT WE WERE SAVED BY A FLAG,WHAT IM SAYING IS BOTH TEAMS HEARTS WERE BEATING UNTIL THE LAST INCOMPLETE PASS WITH JUST OVER A MINUTE LEFT IN THE GAME,THEN STEELER FANS COULD RELAX,ANOTHER CLASSIC BATTLE WAS OVER.NOW DO WE WANT THE JETS OR THE PATS,THEY BOTH BEAT US IN REGULAR SEASON,I KNOW THE JETS WOULD COME TO THE BURGH BUT THEN THE PATS FANS WOULD SAY WE COULD HAVE BEAT THE STEELERS.IM NOT PUTTING THE JETS DOWN,THEY BEAT US ONCE,EITHER WAY I THINK THE STEELERS ARE HEALTHIER AND WILL BE READY FOR EITHER ONE,SO I SAY BRING EM ON. STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
glad they broke ben’s nose
i was schocked that a nfl coach would make a comment like that, but i dont think he meant it how it sounded,he also said how tuff ben is and how well he reacted to the injury, people are blogging ben deserved it and how dirty the steelers are.not true, every nfl team has players who have a lot of heart,i call it giving it your all when you are playing, hard hitting in the nfl is what we cheer for,im sure hits are made that look bad but these guys are just trying to do the best they can for their team and fans,im sure they have no intentions to hurt anyone, and a comment like that just gets the fans fired up for the game, again sticks and stones, notice ben did not react, and if he is not upset why should anyone else be.i will still be cheering my steelers on but i also wish the best of luck to the ravens and all their fans!!!! go steelers!!!!!!
Brady Hoke is new Michigan Coach.
IMO the guy will make a difference and win the fans over in Ann Arbor.
Garza is great, but he wont be enough
After reading the cubs postings and seeing what they did wrong once again I wanted to point out IM glad Garza is out of the AL East. But the Cubs have proved once again why they can’t win a world series. Garza is great, but not enough. Why they didn’t get Grienke from KC along with some other serious talent to go with Garza is beyond me for a big market team. Grienke and Garza would have been a devastating one two punch in chi town and would actually look like a ws team to go along with zambranno. In the end the cubs fans will make excuses when there cubbies fail once again to make it or even win a WS. The fans will stand and sing take me out to the ballgame during the 7th inning stretch and I will be laughing because the cubs gave away the farm for a guy who is going to win a lot of games, but in the end will come up short. Maybe if the cubs fans stopped supporting losing, the ownership would have done or at least tried to do what the red sox, Yankees, phillies, have done and put a world series type team on the field. I don’t fault the cubs for losing, I fault the ownership for not even trying to put a team together. if a small city like Boston, Tampa bay, put a WS caliber team together can’t the 3rd biggest city in the country do it. if the red sox and Tampa can do it why can’t Chicago. As I said I could care less about Chicago but the fans in Boston, New York, Philadelphia wouldn’t tolerate losing for over a century, the fans would stop going and force the owners to spend money on quality players or sell the team to someone who will.
all teams thanks for a great season
this season had it all, upsets, rule changes that affected defenses, teams made great turn arounds, good and bad calls from the ref’s and some great in your face agressive football, look at the playoff games this weekend, most were down to the last seconds of the game.i hope the rest of the playoff’s are as exciting as this weekend, its good for the players and the fans. still cheering go steelers!!!!
Tony Sparano two year contract…
I used to be a real Dolphin and Tony Sparano fan, but after this week? Unbelievable!!!……..What Sparano let the team owner do to him this week can only be described as “no balls”……What kind of respect can he expect from the fans and from his team players after his wimp showing of letting Ross run all over him by letting him hang while he pursued other canidates for coach before retaining Sparano…..I wouldn’t waste my time watching or going to one game next season………..
Sorry Mr. Allen, as a fan and Seattle seahawk follower. We have missed the mark on this years events. Looks like we cannot hold our heads up and say that we are forever a hawk fan. But after the way they have played lately these last five weeks who could blame me. The way I see it there is to be some serious house cleaning after the season ends. No one should feel like they are exempt. Quarterback on down. We the fans deserve better. I’m sorry. Mr. Allen you and the fans deserve better. You pay the bills, and we support you and your team. We want/need a Championship Team here in Seattle.
