Just hoping that as the forum starts to close up shop that we can all let them shut it down on a good note, Sure a lot of us come in and sometimes we are grumpy, Myself included… I hope we can make these last day’s fun . So we can all enjoy ourselves… We are all adults and for the most good people.. I have made many good friends through out the forums.. So I just hope we can lose the anger and treat each other with respect…..I know I have gone off a few times, I always sent apologies….. So what say we have nothing but fun . I know myself if anyone tries to get me upset I will ignore it…We have had so many good times…. Lets have some fun….
Great day
I was a frequent poster in the LOST forums, and after the show was finished the forum wass closed down so we made a group on facebook and still post in there quite frequently, I don’t know if that is something anyone here would be interested in, but it certainly is one way we could continue to discuss baseball with each other.
Mike Smith- Good Call/ Bad Call?
I love the outcome, but I’m curious to hear the Forum opinions on Mike Smith’s decision to go for it on 4th and short in OT. For my two cents, I agree with his decision (and not just because it worked out for my team). His team was approaching 500 yards of total offense. The Saints defense is atrocious, especially against the run, even when they know it’s coming (Right, Marshawn Lynch?). How many times are you going to be able to give it to the Saints offense and it not result in at least a field goal? Michael Turner is a bruising runner who would typically get one yard in his sleep. I’m just saying that I don’t think it’s was a bad call, it just didn’t work out. I would figure, he makes that yard 9 out of 10 times. Thoughts?
RED SOX NEED NEW GM AND MANAGER-YOUR CHOICE?
The Boston Red Sox seem to be missing a General Manager and a field Manager. With all the Boston fans on this MLB Forum I’m sure there are some of you have your favorites. As a Yankee fan I would like to see Larry McPhail as G.M and give Grady Little another chance as Boston’s Manager.
Thank you from The Boston Red Sox players
We want to thank you for defending our honor on this forum by coming up with some of the most outrageous reasons for our meltdown. We all know it is the Yankees fault,we are just glad you recognize it to. All they had to do is win one game for us and the World Championship was ours. Do you really think this was the topic of conversation in the Clubhouse last night. It gets more and more fun to be a Yankee fan every year. Have some respect for your players and allow them to begin to prepare for next year without coming on here and making excuses.
THE FORUM FAMILY
this was my first year posting on the forum,at first,i thought i had to defend my team,i guess like many,i expressed a lot of anger, the veteran posters are a great bunch of people, with me they were kind and i soon found out how many great people come to the forum, they post they’re opinions,a lot of them do a lot of research for the benefit of everuone,i have learned a lot from the good people in the forum,i also learned, anger and hate gets you nowhere,i was taught that very politley, and i thank everyone for that,.these are people who are very serious on their opinions, and they know how to have fun, even if your opinion is different you can post it.im just impressed with the forum,it gets to be a big family, and i have a lot of fun when i come in.all you good people, you all know who im talking about, thank you for letting me into your family.its a great day in maryland.
NFL FORUM HARD TO FIGURE
one has to wonder what is up with this forum, when someone posts their opinion they are speaking their mind,i know not everyone agrees with each other,,why cant it be a nice calm conversation, why do people come back with posts full of anger and hatred, almost like you kicked their dog or something personal, its only talk and conversation,i have met a lot of good people thru the forum, and im not saying anything bad about anyone, but, please, and thank you are words hardly ever used.being polite is always the best way to get a point acrossed.do we need hate and anger?other than that it has been a great year.I M O.
World Champion Thread… 2011 Giants
Well, Boys and Girls… that photo above the forum looks GREAT to me! Here is where we can discuss all things Giants Baseball for 2011… – Can Aubrey Huff have another solid season? – Is this still the best 12-man staff in all of MLB? – Can the Roto keep pace with that beast in Philly? – Will Buster Posey continue his assent as a cornerstone catcher? – Does Cody Ross have a nice “walk” year as a Giant? – Will Mark DeRosa stay healthy? – Does Brandon Belt show why that Giants farm is stellar? – Is Pablo Sandoval going to have a HUGE year or simply get huge? Thoughts?

Serious Affliction
It saddens me to report to the forum that I have come down with a serious affliction. I believe I’m going to need some serious pain killers to numb myself of this malady. Although I haven’t seen a doctor yet, I know what I have. I also believe that there are people across the country that may have the same disease. It’s called “Steeler Envy”. There is currently no cure for this disease. There is however a prominent organization in Philadelphia working on a cure. I’m just not sure they will come up with it in my lifetime. I am currently working on a first step. Admitting that I am powerless over this problem, and my life has become unmanageable. For now I must keep the faith and hope for the best…….
