As inducted into the Foot ball Hall of Fame, a well deserved honoree, Emmet Smith tearfully thanked his line man for his success as a runner. As a girl, I find nothing wrong or unmanly when a male is affected to the point of tears whether happy or grateful, or sad. http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2010/08/08/emmitt-smith-hall-of-fame-speech/ But watching him made me think of my non conservative compatriots on this forum and the many times Glenn Beck was criticized for his tears, and I wondered if those who would call out Beck for this would also criticize Smith. Are Smith’s tears different from Beck’s?
