Hey, I remember watching the first Saints game with my Dad. Their very first play was when Danny Abramowicz ran the opening kickoff from the Rams back for a touchdown.  Of course, there were a few down years following that play……………….

Anyhow…..I don’t usually watch preseason games, except maybe the last couple.  I was at home, all by my lonesome tonight, so I watched the game with Houston.  I liked what I saw for the offense, (Mark Ingram is gonna make folks forget about losing Reggie Bush real soon!).  But, they ain’t got no defense!  Hopefully, that will improve.

BTW…………Any Colts fans worried about Peyton recovering from his neck surgery?

I like the picks that the Chargers have made so far. They really need to fill a lot of spots but the biggest need was on defense. Corey Liuget DT, Marcus Gilchrist DB, Jonas Mouton OLB, Vincent Brown WR, Shareece Wright DB. With these picks hopefully they will have a much improved defense and be able to take some of the pressure off their offense. The secondary really needed help and it looks like they will improve some on run stoppage. The one wideout can’t hurt. I hope they can still get a quality guy on the o-line.

ray lewis has proven he is worthy to be known he is one of the best ever, his energy on the field his leadership and his heart.he is proud to be a raven and very proud of his defense.the ravens have put together a pretty good offense,if they jell, and start playing consistantjy, the defense will step up as always and help put another game in the win column.he has been around a long time,he is in good shape but,a lot of their defense are getting up there, its in no way hurting their defense yet, they’re  still awesome, but age takes its toll, and  the offense has to do it soon if ray is to get another ring.i gotta admit as a steeler fan,it is fun to watch ray play.anytime you can watch a great player who will surley be in the hall of fame,it is an honor.i m o/

i say the steelers need to draft or trade for a corner, hopefully a trade to get someone with speed and experience, get the offensive line healthy and get some dependable backups, also they need to work on some plays when they are backed up on their own one yard line, two times this year they got stung with saftey’s and once a fumble for a touchdown.except for the corner i think our defense is sound, the offense is good, they have a lot of talent but injuries hurt, and i think they should go deep more and come off with some trick plays, randel l as a wide reciever is also a qb,they used him a few times and it worked out pretty well,a little more trickery would confuse defenses a little, just a thought.i m o.

I think he would be a good fit as the Offensive Coordinator he is one of the young upcoming brilliant play callers. He might not be a Head Coach but he does know about offense.  He would go well with Matt Cassel and the Offense that they do.

Since Jason Garret was the offensive coordinator and called all the shots for the offense, I don’t see how he is now going to make them play any better than he had them playing last week.  This is another of Jerry the Jerks stupid moves.  He lost me as a fan when he fired Landry the way he did and the years have not mellowed the idiot.  It’s much better being a Saints fan!  Who Dat!

If Oregon and Boise State were right now for the championship title….who would win.   I’d choose Oregon because of their explosive offensive and they’ve yet to make serious mistakes and their defense have improved each game and they only allowed 16 points in the 4th quarter all season, and that says a lot about their Defense.   As for Boise State, there’s no question as to how good their team is right now, but do not think their offense was as great as last year but their defense is good.   Oregon…….. 42 Boise State..28

Conversations overheard between Jeff L. and Andy R. Jeff: Hey Andy what do you think we should trade McNabb? Andy:  Well, umm yeah, umm Yeah I think Kolb is better well I think that if you think that… Jeff: Okay lets trade him to hey how about the Skins.. Andy:  Umm yeah, umm yeah I think thats a good move, if you think thats a good move, Jeff: Okay I will tell them to make it happen, Kolb is our guy… Andy: Yep he is our guy   Fast Forward to Oct. 3rd  Skins vs Beagles   Andy to Marty M. : See I knew Kolb couldnt run this offense we should have kept McNabb, now I have to tell Jeff we need to trade Kolb to get a qb since Vick will be out a few weeks..   Great Move Eagles its about winning now not  the future and this is why you will never win a Super Bowl its not the players cause the Eagles have great players its the Head coach and the people running the show…

Simply put why don’t they have one after all these years?  Just curious  do they reallt think Offense can consistantly produce Championships. It takes a Great D to win the SB.  They just don’t seem to grasp that concept.

Vick vs.. Kolb

Here’s your choice 2010 Eagles fans, start Vick and have a good shot at a winning (or at least exciting) season this year despite the serious flaws on the offense and defense, or start Kolb and put up with the growing pains and losing season involved with grooming a young quarterback (providing he does not get killed behind a poor offensive line) and hope for a better future (with no guarantee that Kolb will develop into the next Joe Montana).
