So far, I haven’t gotten very fired up about this season’s football. Maybe it’ll change as the season draws nearer. Other than watchin’ maybe ten minutes of golf, the last sport I got interested in was watching the USC Lamecocks repeat as NCAA Baseball world champs. Heck Yeah! Anyone else ever have an occasional year when the football bug doesn’t bite?

Oh yah! They have been for most of the last 30 to 40 years. Time after time, cheap hits on people, often when it didn’t even mean a whole lot to the game. Just trying to hurt people to gain an advantage. Steelers can go down the tubes with this NFL fan. Go Packers!

This one the Lions should win and that scares me. Yesterday against Miami I was sure they were going to lose in the last quarter but look what the defense did. Wow. I still have to take them. Rely on “The Suh” What a rokie.

I have had several posts that have vanished in the last few days including two I made this morning – one on the HOF thread and another on the Red Sox thread. In fact all the posts on the Red Sox thread vanished. Several on the HOF thread before mine vanished. Has anyone else noticed this? I can’t recall any posts – mine or others – that would be deleted as being inappropriate.

Just a note that may interest you. If you are in the New York area try to see the Broadway show Lombardi. I am not a frequent theater goer but just saw it and really enjoyed it. The actors received a standing ovation and they deserved the applause. I got last minute tickets, $50 , sat in the last row and still had good seats, in that the theater is all around instead of straight back.
